The artwork for this project has features two artists collaborating. The first is a 'xim1mix' (instagram) who has created the face seen in the image, this is done in a classical hand drawn style and features an old man wearing headphones and smoking. The idea behind this follows that of the title - "The death of audio". The man is made to look tired and worn out, a symbolic representation of the state of a lot of music at this time. To contrast the classical style of the artwork I commissioned Aidan Dawe (graffiti artist) to do the typography for the album. An early sketch representing how the letters may look can be seen at the top of the image, this will, in the final piece be spray painted and then photoshopped into the image. Finally the artist logo "199four" can be seen at the bottom right corner of the image. This was created roughly a year ago by digital artist Cameron Niven.

The positioning of the cover is designed to draw the eye to certain elements, you can see that the album title curves around the back of the man's head and leads the eye to the artist logo, with an image of a smaller, younger figure in the corner. This figure is representative of those in the industry still trying to push creativity and innovation, where the larger face represents the tired and worn out industry of music.

The combination of classical art and graffiti typography can be seen as representative of the sampling theme behind the album. The classical drawing style is representative of the samples, taken from classic music genres and styles, where the graffiti element represents Hip-Hop influence on these samples to make them into beats.
